Driven by the belief that wellbeing begins with movement, connection, and shared purpose, Aditya Birla Education Trust (ABET) conceptualised Ride to Mpower – Mumbai Cyclothon as a powerful initiative to promote mental health awareness through collective action. The event, organised in November 2025, witnessed an extraordinary turnout of over 5000 participants, transforming Mumbai’s streets into a vibrant symbol of unity, positivity, and resilience.

The event brought together students, families, fitness enthusiasts, professionals, and community members from diverse walks of life, united by a common goal of championing mental wellbeing. Participants experienced not just the physical joy of cycling but also the emotional upliftment that comes from being part of a larger, meaningful cause. The ride served as a powerful reminder that simple, active lifestyle choices can significantly contribute to mental clarity, emotional balance, and overall wellness.

Beyond the physical activity, Ride to Mpower created a shared social experience that encouraged open dialogue around mental health, breaking down barriers of hesitation and silence. The event fostered a strong sense of community engagement, demonstrating how collective participation can drive awareness while inspiring individuals to adopt healthier and more mindful lifestyles.

By seamlessly blending fitness with advocacy, the Mumbai Cyclothon reinforced ABET’s holistic vision of wellbeing — one that recognises the deep connection between physical health, emotional strength, and social belonging. The initiative continues to stand as a testament to how community-driven engagement can create lasting social impact while inspiring individuals to take proactive steps toward caring for both their minds and bodies.
